PhytoLipoGenics®

Marvesa has developed PhytoLipoGenics® to stabilise the intestinal microflora, strengthen the animal intestinal barrier and to positively influence the general animal physiology. Animals that are full of vitality are better armed against infection and illness, they have a more resilient immune system and require fewer antibiotics.

Medium-chain Fatty Acids (MCFA’s) are the active components within the PhytoLipoGenics® formulation. MCFA’s exhibit anti-microbial effects, where C12 mostly inhibits gram-positive bacteria (such as Streptococcus) and C8 and C10 mostly inhibit gram-negative bacteria (such as E.coli and Salmonella). Moreover, our PhytoLipoGenics® products also show positive effects on the villus/crypt ratio in the intestine, improving the absorption of nutrients.
