Safe and reliable input through our in-house nutritional team and 16 dedicated tank trucks

Marvesa has an annual volume in oils and fats of 450,000MT. We possess over 80,000m3 of tank capacity spread across the Netherlands, Spain, Argentina and Indonesia. For optimal flexibility of our customers, we have our own logistics department with 16 dedicated tank trucks with experienced drivers. In addition, our in-house nutritional team is always available for product-specific questions and support.

2010

The beginning

"Marvesa Oils and Fats" is started by our current CEO, Bart de Bruycker.

2015

Lecithins

Marvesa becomes the largest exporter of soybean lecithin from Argentina. This by-product of the oil refining industry shows great value in animal nutrition.

2016

Gut health

Introduction of products with an additional benefit on gut health of the animal

2020

Chane Terminals

Marvesa and Chane Terminals agree to start constructing a new terminal in the harbour of Rotterdam, the Botlek.

2023

Move to The Hague and Botlek

Marvesa's head office moves from Amsterdam to The Hague, Ypenburg. Simultaneously the new terminal in Botlek is also officially opened this year.

2024

P.T. Marvesa Indonesia

Our office and new blending facility in Indonesia becomes fully operational.

Nutrition in animals

The main part of animal feed is energy and amino acids (protein) with a small amount of minerals, trace elements and vitamins. Energy in feed comes from carbohydrates, protein and fat. Fat delivers a high amount of energy and it is important that it is digestible. The fat helps to achieve sufficient energy content of feed (high nutrient density) the content of fat in feed varies from 3 to 25%.
